- two bits. i want to extend a huge thanks to floydpepper from silentdeath.net. he's been helping me mirror files for almost a year and i really appreciate all his help and support. sadly, he is not going to be a mirror any longer. so thanks again floydpepper, your help meant a lot to me. be sure to visit his site. ps - this does mean all the silentdeath.net mirror links are broken. i'll clean them up during the server move...see my note below.

- i'm moving my server again very soon. i've found a new home that suits me and my needs much better. this site will actually be on an interim server while i get everything setup at the new place. i don't expect any site outages, but the dvd iso for the houston meridian show may not be available at my interim host. so get that file while you can, or just wait a little while and it will be available again later.

- a classic show from the mc chris live archive. here's the athens, ga show at the 40 watt from march 2005 that i taped. it's been sitting on my harddrive for months - i could not get it to sound right, but i think it's very decent now. please enjoy responsibly with a subwoofer.

- this was from the second leg of the 2005 winter tour so all ya'll new fans can compare the older shows to the new ones, and get a feel for the setlists back then.

- check this page for full details and additional information about the dvd.

- please read this before you download the iso! this file is 3.74gb in size. some file systems and applications do not support large files (files greater than 2gb in size). most notable is internet explorer. i don't think you can download this file using internet explorer. here's what microsoft says about it. there's nothing i can do about this but tell you to get a real browser like firefox. it's been tested with safari as well.

- i'm considering the direct downloads project a work in progress. there could be some unforseen problems with my server software or hardware setup. please let me know if you encouter problems while trying to download anything.

- since (according to my new colo provider anyway) bittorrent is "illegal", i had to shut the tracker down. so fuck 'em! how does direct downloads of every file that used to be only available on the tracker sound to you? and yes, that includes ajservo1's dvd iso files! and all the flac audio packs! and the videos! all files are now just a click away (or will be once i replace the torrent links).

- i'm in the process of replacing all the torrent links with direct download links. so please ignore the torrent files. you can download the torrent files if you want, but there's no tracker so they won't do you much good.

- it will take me a few days to update all the pages, so please just keep checking back if you're looking for a file that doesn't have a direct download link yet.

- one last note, if it starts getting crazy with the dvd downloads, i'll have to pull the isos offline to avoid going over my monthly transfer limit. but the limit resets every month, so if i pull the dvd isos, i'll put them back at the beginning of the next month. worst case you'll have to wait a few days for the beginning of the month to d/l certain files. bob.

yep, thanks to ajservo1 there's now some eye candy on the main page. the first graphic element in six months of being online. hey what can i say, i'm a UNIX guy and my world is text based!

- this is just the beginning of the new stuff i have in store for you here at mcchrislive.

- watch this page for details...but for now my ass is tired. the server migration took a little over seven hours. it would have taken a lot longer, but the mysql guys are badass coders and made my life a better place. raw mysql dbase files are cross-platform, and minor version tolerant. nice. if you're reading this, then the dns changes have already kicked in.

- sadly, the server is no longer in atlanta. i'll miss her being just down the street. but for those in the virginia area, i suspect you'll enjoy the new location when you go to download something!

- there might be a broken link or three somewhere in the site, i haven't really tested it too much. please report any web site anomalies to me.

- also also wik, the bittorrent tracker will be going offline sometime later today. apparently, it's a TOS violation at my new colo. they were actually arguing with me saying that bittorrent is illegal! wtf! how can a file distribution method be illegal?!? the good news is i don't need bittorrent anymore anyway (and i'll get my dsl speed at home back, yeah!). all part of the brand new crap in store here at mcchrislive...bob.

PSP MC -
The entire concert in PSP (Playstation Portable) formatted video. This feature is located on the DVD when you put it
in a DVD-ROM drive. If you open up the DVD in Windows/Mac, you'll see the entire concert broken down, song by song,
into 14 ZIP files. If you unzip the files and place the contents of each onto a Memory Stick Duo, they will play back
on your PSP. Each song is 15 MB or less so everyone gets in on the fun. The entire concert is about 220 MB approx,
so it's perfectly capable for those people with a 256MB card to get the entire set of songs on there.

- this dvd is not encrypted nor does it have a region code (as all dvd's should be!).
- this dvd iso can be burned to any blank dvd+-r/rw using any burning software that supports dvd burning. i've used nero and dvddecrypter successfully. mac users should check out toast. linux users can use dvdrtools or dvd+rw tools.
